Pecans and Raisin Spiced Popcorn

All ingredients are available in the market!


5 cups Popped Popcorn
2 cups Pecans
2 tbsp Butter, Unsalted
2 tbsp Virgin Coconut Oil
1 tsp Cinnamon
1 tsp Kosher Salt
1 tsp Paprika
1 tsp Tumeric
1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper
1/2 tsp Ginger
1/2 tsp Nutmeg
2 tbsp Pure Maple Syrup
1 cup Golden Raisins

Method of Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
2. In a large bowl, toss the popped popcorn with the pecans.
3. In a small saucepan, melt the butter and coconut oil over low heat.
4. Add the cinnamon, salt, paprika, turmeric, cayenne pepper, ginger and nutmeg.
5. Cook while stirring for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
6. Stir in the maple syrup, pour over popcorn mixture and mix to coat.
7. Spread out on a rimmed baking sheet and bake, tossing every 10 minutes, until dry and nuts are toasted. About 30-40 minutes.
8. Let cool.
9. Toss in the golden raisins.
