Nectarines Marinated in Red Wine
Most ingredients are available in Antonio’s Market!
4 ea Nectarines, Pitted and cut into 8 wedges each
3 cups Red Wine
1/4 cup Sugar
Juice of 1 Lemon, plus 1/2 Lemon Sliced
5 ea Mint Leaves, Julienned, Plus Extra Whole Leaves
Method of Preparation
1. In a bowl, toss the nectarines with the sugar, lemon juice and mint.
2. Add the wine, cover and refrigerate for 2 hours or overnight.
3. Place nectarines in 4 glasses and pour in some of the wine.
4. Garnish with mint leaves and a lemon slice.
