Garlic Roasted Asparagus
Most ingredients are available in Antonio’s Market!
If you do not have fresh garlic cloves, follow the recipe but substitute 1 tsp garlic powder or omit 1 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil and add 2 tsp garlic-infused olive oil.
1 lb Pencil Thin Asparagus
2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 ea Garlic Cloves, Peeled
Salt and Freshly Ground Black Pepper, To Taste
Method of Preparation
1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
2. Break off the tough end soft the asparagus and arrange the spears on a large baking dish.
3. Add the garlic, olive oil, salt and pepper and toss together.
4. Roast in the oven for 10 to 15 minutes, until the asparagus is tender.
5. Serve warm.
