Apple Pie Pecan Streusel Topping

Ingredients
For the Crust
• 1 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour
• 1/4 tsp Salt
• 2 tsp Sugar
• 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil
• 4 tbsp Whole Milk
• 1 tsp Vanilla
• 1 tbsp Butter, Melted
For the Filling
• 1/2 cup Light Brown Sugar
• 1/2 cup Cinnamon
• 1/4 cup White Sugar
• 1/4 cup All-Purpose Flour
• 1/4 cup Nutmeg
• 1/4 cup Apple Juice
• 1 tbsp Butter, Melted
• 7 ea Red Apples, Peeled and Sliced
For the Topping
• 1/2 cup Pecans, Chopped
• 1/3 cup Light Brown Sugar
• 1/4 cup All-Purpose Flour
• 2 tbsp Butter, Room Temperature
Method of Preparation
Method:
1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
2. Spray a 9inch pie pan with nonstick spray, set aside.
3. To make the crust, combine flour, salt and sugar in a large bowl and mix well.
4. In a smaller bowl, combine oil, milk, vanilla and butter.
5. Add to the flour mixture, mixing with a fork until the mixture is crumbly.
6. Form mixture into a loose ball.
7. Place in the prepared pie pan.
8. Pat crust into pie dish until all side and bottom are covered.
9. For the filling, combine all filling ingredients and place into crust.
10. Bake for 25 minutes.
11. Meanwhile, mix topping ingredients and set aside.
12. Remove pie from the over after the 25 minutes.
13. Reduce heat to 350 degrees F.
14. Add topping and return pie to oven.
15. Bake for 25 more minutes.
16. Remove pie and let cool for about 1 hour before serving.
